We've been looking at foreclosure houses so long that now that I'm looking at the rental listings, I realize we've been INSIDE a good percentage of these houses already.
For Example- The pit bull neighbor house is for rent. With new carpeting/paint and kitchen. But I think the pit bull is still there. The pit bull wasn't mentioned in the rental listing.
But it also confirms that we're not competing with other families trying to buy these homes. We're competing against investors with money.
But I can move into 5 houses in our neighborhood for $500/month less rent. The neighborhood is a known entity, the move would be short.. it's just the lousy school should I abandon homeschooling and the overbearing HOA that I don't really care for.
But that wasn't on my criteria list, now, was it?
