The selling bank accepted the lower price!
YIPPEEE!!
Now they're just hammering out the details about the termites
But the re-inspection revealed a new/not on the last inspection issue that needs to be fixed before it passes inspection. *sigh*
And Larry says I need a better filter on what comes out of my head and through the keyboard. So.. I won't call the home appraiser names. At least not in cyberspace. Does that count for a filter??
So.. best case scenario- we have the house late next week.
Worst case- one thing pops up after another so we're closing on it the week before Christmas.
But come H*ll or highwater, this house will be ours.
God told me, afterall.
He just forgot to add some of these nerve wracking details.
But then again.. He doesn't seem real keen in revealing details.. like..say.. when the Israelites were wandering in the desert. Sure.. He promised them they were headed for the promised land. He just didn't mention how long it was going to take or where it was.
Note to self- Remember to thank God that it isn't taking us 40 years to close on this house.
Or that we're 100 years old and having the baby promised some 70 years ago...
Yep. Much better off than that. Much.
