Nothing to report

Especially since my publicist (*cough*mom*cough*) thinks I've been sharing too much publically. I told her no one reads this, but apparently someone read it once to tell someone in the cloth diaper world that I was going to sell the business.. so maybe she has a point.

We signed something like 60 pages of stuff that was supposed to make the house ours on Friday.

Today I have a request to sign and provide  yet more stuff.

So.. yes. Still in house-owning pergatory.

Thanksgiving came and went. Rather than spend time eating with family, we went shopping. And planned our day-after-thanksgiving shopping spree.

We planned on both going and one of us taking the kids, but cooler, more rational, or at least sleepier heads prevailed at 4:30 am and Larry stayed home with the kids. By the time I came home by 9am, he decided that I did indeed have the shorter straw in the game of parenting.

We bought a fridge at a black friday price, then went to another store and in conversation with the appliance dept manager, came back the following day (Sat) to store b to buy the newer version of the same fridge for $200 less and returned fridge a to store a. Sounds difficult, but it really wasn't, since we didn't pick up fridge a from the store, yet.

Now if only we can find a great deal on a stove and dishwasher and gas dryer.

Have decided that if we're actually going to be able to move from this house by Jan 1 that we're going to need to hire help.

And now I go to fax 50 pages to someone new in the 'sign, fax and return with documentation' game.
