The house is now nearly 100% complete on the projects we had to fix before we could have it re-inspect to close.
We should hopefully hear soon if they are willing to accept the (lower) assessed value as the sale price
Larry tells me today that Fridays are his least busy days at work.. because no one wants to be sick for the weekend.
Now in the civilian world- when you "don't want to be sick for the weekend" you call on friday or an apt that day because
a. you've been putting up with something all week that you're sure will get worse that weekend and want to pre-empt that
or
b. you feel something coming on and want drugs to prevent it.
In the Military..
If you don't want to be sick for the weekend, you stay as far from the Dr as possible. Because if he agrees that you are sick, he can write 24-72 hours of sick leave which confines you to rest in your dorm room. And if you're a young marine, spending the weekend in your dorm room would be torture.
viva la difference, right?
Well..
it's off to finish the carpet cleaning project and get the cleaner returned by noon, meet Larry with his lunch (because he's not busy today), and then a million other random things including schooling the kids some.
