First of all...
Mom- We're fine. No matter what impression I give you on this blog. We are in fact fine. If you were here you wouldn't notice anything other than the usual madness.
So..
That said...
Still no word on the house's price adjustment proposal.
The re-inspection should be tomorrow.
Tomorrow I plan on going to Sea World. Larry has the day off for the Marine Corps birthday, so we're going to take advantage of our 4 free tickets a year and head down there.
At least that's the current plan. Subject to change, especially since I haven't told the kids that's the plan. If the kids don't know then they can't get upset if we don't go.
The kids and I went to the Wild Animal Park Sunday after church. I was thinking 'hey, we'll be half way there from church' so we went. Larry had AirSoft plans.
Ladies, if you husband doesn't play Airsoft, please do not introduce it to him. It's like grown ups playing GI-Joe. Without paint guns. They have these pellet things they shoot at each other. In a Hollywood-like city setup.
Larry's friend bought him a gun so now Larry plans on playing once a month.
He could have worse hobbies, I guess. Gambling, beer and women, for example.
But I was not going to be sitting home while he was out having fun. And we have Zoo passes this year, lol. We'll be going alot. And I thought to myself "hmm, maybe if I drag them up and down the hills at the animal park they'll be tired and sleepy at bedtime"
No. Someone needs to be there reminding me everytime I have that thought that "no, YOU will be tired, the kids will be whiny and complain about being tired until the moment you announce it's time to get into pajamas. At that point they will no longer be tired and want to be awake for the next 4 hours." Which would not be different from normal. The difference is my degree of fatigue.
I have pictures and I have to move them from camera card to computer, and that isn't going to happen today.
Unfortunately I no longer have a camera and card that I can just pop the little disk-y thing into my computer. I have to use the old camera and disk which I need the special adapter which is usually lost and takes forever..
I asked Santa for a new camera card and/or camera for Christmas.
He told me to research it and buy one for myself.
It's just not the same as when I was 6 years old.
But at least I'll get exactly what I want (or think I want, lol).
