The Approved school lesson this past month was on the presidents, in honor of presidents' day.
Anyway... One of the more recent assignments were to write down what you would do if you were president.
And.. both my 5 year olds said they would have the rich give money to the poor.
I think we've been reading Robin Hood a bit too much these days. And even my bleeding heart is hesitating on that one.. "uh..ok.. but maybe we should also help the poor get a job?"
To which Joey answers "if they work, they can't do anything fun all day"
Yes, son. That's kinda the way life works..
