Since I last stopped in and posted here....
Much has been going on- Larry hasn't had to report to work since a few days after his graduation, so he's been a fixture on the couch- trying to get a new and improved super-duper shopping cart for the business running with our inventory in it.
I survived 2 weeks of swimming lessons. The kids did not pass to the next level which isn't a surprise. We spent nearly every afternoon trying to get them to swim. They're much better than they were, but still no where near the other kids in their class whose parents had them swimming since they were 2. Of course MY 2 year old screams like you're killing him every time you take him in the water. I see remedial swimming lessons in his future, too.
I've been TRYING to get the house clean and organized enough to entertain my entire family who are descending on So cal beginning on Friday, with the final family members leaving 10 days later. The OCD in me is trying to plan meals, snacks, sleeping arrangements, blankets, sheets, etc...
We bid on 2 more houses, got approved for yet another bank's mortgage. Also called several rentals- and now I remember what part of the finding a rental problem was here- no one returns calls or emails timely. So.. all those houses for rent in our neighborhood?? None of them have gotten back to me.*sigh*
Sonia has been obsessed with getting her ears pierced for a while now and finally we gave in and took her. She has pink flower studs and think she's super cool and can't wait to show everyone. Sonia is SUCH a wimp I was sure she wasn't going to go through with it or really fuss after the first was done. nope.
I forgot.
She's also super hard-headed and when she sets her mind to something, there really isn't any deterring her. Worked for potty training and I guess ear piercing. I wish she'd make up her mind to go to sleep at night.
Kayla of course now wants her ears pierced. She'll be waiting a bit longer.
